Intern, Power Modeling

What You’ll Do

  • Analyze power consumption in various components of large scale HPC and AI systems
  • Develop system-level architectural and micro-architectural level power models.
  • Do workload specific energy analysis for HPC and AI applications, perform what-if analysis of energy and performance tradeoff for architectural study.
  • Construct SOC-level and IP-level power models
  • Develop scripts to facilitate power analysis and data processing for power-related SOC design flow
  • Contribute to workload-specific power analysis at the SOC and IP levels for large-scale HPC and AI systems
  • Complete other responsibilities as assigned.

Location: Hybrid, working onsite at our San Jose, CA headquarters 3 days per week, with the flexibility to work remotely the remainder of your time 

What You Bring

  • Senior level currently pursuing Bachelor’s degree or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering
  • Proficiency in Python programming from developing framework to building the full application
  • Strong hands-on experience in SOC design, especially power design, modeling, and analysis.
  • Experience in computer architecture and SoC design
  • Strong technical writing and communication skills
